Who we are

Rooted in local knowledge. Focused on lasting agricultural progress.

Linnet Enterprises is a Zambian-owned agribusiness headquartered in Senanga District, Western Province. Founded in 1998 as a small-scale livestock operation and formally registered in 2003, the company is building on more than two decades of experience and community relationships.

Today, Linnet is evolving into a vertically integrated agribusiness that connects livestock breeding, feed manufacturing, mechanization and climate-smart farming to support rural economic growth.

Our mission

To build a commercially viable, gender-inclusive and climate-resilient agricultural model that improves food quality, empowers smallholder farmers and demonstrates sustainable agribusiness practices.

Our vision

To be a leading catalyst for sustainable agricultural transformation in Zambia and Southern Africa, showing how commercial agriculture can deliver financial returns, climate solutions and community empowerment.

What we do

Four connected divisions. One stronger value chain.

Our business model links livestock, local crop production, farm equipment and environmental resilience to create practical value for farming communities.

DIVISION 01

Livestock Breeding & Production

We raise indigenous Barotse cattle alongside improved Bosmara cattle and Kalahari goats, with a focus on animal health, pasture management and genetic improvement. Our goal is to supply quality livestock and improved breeding stock to local markets and farmers.

DIVISION 02

Feed Manufacturing

Our planned local feed mill is designed to improve access to affordable, reliable feed for cattle, goats, poultry and swine, while creating a market for maize and soya produced by local farmers.

DIVISION 03

Agricultural Mechanization

We supply ox-drawn ploughs, spare parts and Scotch Carts to help smallholder farmers cultivate more efficiently, move produce and reduce the burden of manual labour and post-harvest losses.

DIVISION 04

Climate-Smart Agriculture

Through agroforestry, ecosystem-based adaptation and exploration of biodigester solutions, we are working to improve soil moisture, protect sandy soils, diversify farm income and reduce agricultural emissions.

Our approach

Commercial strength with community value.

We aim to build a business that grows responsibly while helping local farmers and rural communities become more productive and resilient.

Farmer empowerment

Training, cooperative development, improved livestock and stronger market connections can help smallholders access more opportunities.

Local value creation

Local feed production can connect crop farmers with livestock producers, while mechanization helps improve farm productivity and transport.

Climate resilience

Agroforestry, soil conservation and improved livestock efficiency form part of our approach to protecting natural resources and adapting to climate risks.
